    Satsang: from the Sanskrit Satsangha, with Sat meaning Being, Truth, or Love-essence, and Sangha meaning Gathering, Community or Association. A Satsang is a Gathering in Being, Love and Truth. In this Satsang Rory and his friends gather to feel, express, and celebrate the mystery of our Being in our deepest love and our highest truth, along with personal experience and sacred chanting.

    On Death & Suicide: The impulse to die, to commit suicide, or to transcend is never us, but is always a particle or ego-point within us. From the point of view of the unsurrendered intellect which identifies with difference and distinction, we are nothing at all, utter emptiness; whereas from the point of view of the surrendered heart which identifies with oneness and unity, we are everything, utter fullness, containing countless particles, countless programs, countless stories.

    This particular suicidal particle or ego-point which has gotten our attention naturally wishes to merge with us, to die or to transcend, because it is suffering, and it understands merging with us or death or transcendence to be the cessation of suffering. It is suffering because it has been told that its particular story or program is not in alignment with our larger whole. It believes its story is not in alignment with our larger whole because we programmed it unconsciously and because we have then rejected that particular program or ego-point as not-OK, as not-Self.

    So when we feel the impulse to die or to transcend, we relax, we breathe deeply, we scan the entire body-mind or energy-field to see and feel from where this suffering impulse is emanating, and we will find that it is not us as a whole; it is always a constricted tension-point within us. And we let that point of Being know that it has our undivided attention, our unconditional love. We tell it that it can have whatever it truly needs, and we ask it what it truly needs. And whatever it most needs, we give it that, on the level of the imagination and of the feeling-level. What is that to us? Merely a thought, with no real power. But the particle believes in us, and its belief gives that thought power, and manifests it for us. That is the splendor and glory of the particles – they are our Devatas, our Angels; they concretize and manifest the sum-total of our thoughts, unconscious and conscious, to create our world. As we heal and integrate our Devata-particles, we heal and integrate our entire world into a conscious paradise.

The entire spectacle was Love on the move. I was That. The universe was inside me: the Heart of the cosmos. What a big “Wow!” all of this was. As an awake, highly educated, and very highly-developed human being, as well, he is an extremely rare being on this planet.
